[Sea Freight] Main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange declines to 1201 points

The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities declined on Thursday lead by weak capesize rates.

LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities declined on Thursday lead by weak capesize rates.

The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, up by another 22 points to 1222 points on Thursday.
